is cs source dead?
« on: January 28, 2010, 10:26:20 PM »

Is cs source worth spending 20 bucks on steam or is it pretty much a dead game as much as the old version?

Get battlefield 2, I think you can pick it up fairly cheap.

I am not sure about source being dead.

Yeah I just started back. before you buy it make sure your system can play it.
Look at my specs for the one I just built. It is more than what I need but I can play it at full resolution with no problems.
It is a fun game and the server I play on is a Team Based Server.

I fixed your link.-Maul Rat

I get an error when I attempt to view your stat page.  I've been playing a lot on a texas server, something like texasteamservers? Idk they have it in their rules to join a squad and I like that, being/having a good squad leader for others to spawn around seems to make all the difference.

they need more maps like road to jalalabad tho.  I hate the desert and sea fighting, I prefer to keep it city.

edited for typo

something is wrong when I installed xfire

I get kicked now by punkbuster for:

restriction: disallowed program/driveer [125083]

I googled it and some other people have had a similiar problem with no answers other than to write up a help ticket.  I've put in a help ticket on their website, hopefully it won't take long

But I did uninstalled xfire, doubt I will d/l it again after this.  I cant play at all in the meantime

edit: got a quick response on my ticket, turns out certain programs cause some kind of internal conflict that can be resolved by disabling steam friends, I'm not sure if I can still run xfire with steam friends turned off, waiting to hear back on that one
